Terms and data

ReviewGate is free and runs inside your own infrastructure, so there is not much to put on this page: what you may do with it, and what it keeps.

Terms of use

ReviewGate is free to use, with no tiers, no seat count and no activation key. It is provided as is, without warranty of any kind: you decide whether a finding applies to your code, and the merge decision stays with your team. You connect the model provider yourself and are responsible for your agreement with them and for what you send to it.

Data retention

ReviewGate stores review metadata only — the number of findings, their severity, the statuses and the tokens spent — and it stores them in your own database, cleaning up after 90 days. Source code and diffs are never written to the logs or to the database and never leave your infrastructure. The vendor receives nothing at all: there is no telemetry and no call home. How that is arranged, and how to check it yourself, is on the Security page.

Analytics on this site

This site counts page views with Umami, which runs on our own server — the counter is served from this domain, so your browser makes no request to anyone else. No cookies are set and nothing is written to your device, which is why there is no consent banner to click. We keep the page, the referrer, the browser, the device type and an approximate location — country and city; your IP address is truncated before it reaches the counter, so even our server never sees it in full. Nothing here is shared with anyone, and none of it touches the product: a review you run on your own infrastructure sends us nothing at all.
